The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has warned customers to clear outstanding bills within 72 hours or face disconnection.
The notice, issued by AEDC’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Adefisayo Akinsanya, sets the deadline for payment by Monday, June 3, 2024.
AEDC serves about 1.4 million customers in the Federal Capital Territory, Nasarawa, Niger, and Kogi states, with a metering rate of 61.07%.
The company emphasized the importance of timely payments for maintaining efficient and reliable service.
Customers are urged to settle their bills promptly to avoid service disruptions and support AEDC’s ongoing infrastructure enhancements.
