Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other stakeholders for their support in making the Dangote Petroleum Refinery a reality.
The refinery, the largest in the world, has started producing diesel and aviation fuel, boosting Nigeria’s energy sector.
The refinery has received six million barrels of crude oil and is ready to start fuel distribution within the month, subject to regulatory approvals. Its products will meet the strict Euro V emission standards.
Dangote also appreciated the financial institutions, the Lagos State government, and the project’s host communities for their contributions.
