FG and Wema Bank to Establish Tech Hubs in 7 States to Empower Youths

The Federal Government has partnered with Wema Bank to set up micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) digital hubs in seven states.
Vice President Kashim Shettima announced the initiative, aimed at empowering one million youths with digital skills and mentoring 500,000 SMEs.
The FGN/ALAT Digital and SkillNnovation Hub will open initially in Lagos and Borno, followed by Katsina, Cross River, Anambra, Oyo, and Kano.
The program seeks to provide financial products, training, and support to young entrepreneurs, tech-savvy youths, and employees, fostering entrepreneurship and skills development.
Grants of N500 million will be provided through a collaboration between the federal government and Wema Bank to support SMEs and techpreneurs.
