A fire incident at the E54 Bridge of Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal One in Lagos has caused disruptions to flight operations.
The fire, which occurred in the early hours of the morning, was promptly brought under control by 06:41 am, but not before causing significant damage to the airport’s infrastructure.
As a result, flights have been diverted to the D Wing, causing inconvenience to travelers.
The airport authorities have apologized for the disruption and are working to restore normal flight operations as soon as possible.
