The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has dismissed rumors of an impending increase in the retail price of petroleum products.
In a statement shared on its official Twitter account on Monday night, the oil firm refuted recent media reports suggesting that it was considering raising petroleum pump prices from the current N617 per litre to a range between N720 and N750 in the coming weeks.
The NNPC clarified its position, stating that it has no intentions of increasing the pump prices of petrol. The company assured its valued customers that it values their patronage and emphasized its commitment to providing the best quality petroleum products at affordable prices across its NNPC Retail stations nationwide.
