Petrol Scarcity Hits Kaduna, Sells for Over N1000 per Litre

Kaduna metropolis is experiencing acute fuel scarcity, with majority of fuel stations not dispensing fuel, and black market sellers hiking the price to over N1000 per litre.

The situation has caused hardship for citizens, with many trekking to their destinations due to the sudden hike in transport fares. The scarcity has also caused long queues at few fuel stations dispensing petrol.

The situation has been exacerbated by the fact that many fuel stations are hoarding fuel, waiting for the situation to worsen before selling at exorbitant prices. This has led to a surge in black market activities, with many citizens resorting to buying fuel from illegal vendors at inflated prices.

The scarcity has also affected commercial activities, with many businesses forced to shut down due to the lack of fuel. The situation has been described as unbearable, with citizens calling on the government to intervene and address the situation
