Rano Air has achieved another milestone on Sunday, January 21, 2024, by launching domestic flights from Katsina to Abuja and Kaduna to Lagos.
The airline, inaugurated last year, has been serving passengers on routes like Abuja to Lagos, Kano, Sokoto, and Maiduguri.
Reports indicate that the turnout of passengers for Rano Air’s flights from Katsina and Kaduna was impressive, with passengers expressing satisfaction over the new service.
Many appreciated the airline for its punctuality and the end of delays and cancellations experienced with other carriers.
Rano Air operates five Embraer Aircraft with a capacity of 50 passengers per trip. Since its commencement of domestic operations in the previous year, the airline has received positive feedback for offering relatively cheaper air tickets.
With the inauguration of the Katsina and Kaduna routes, Rano Air aims to expand its domestic services to cover all Nigerian airports in the near future.
Additionally, plans are underway to introduce bigger and wide-body aircraft to accommodate more passengers.
