President Bola Tinubu has praised the Bank of Industry (BOI) for disbursing N636 billion to businesses in 2025, describing it as the highest annual financing in the institution’s history.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President said the milestone reflected the impact of ongoing macroeconomic reforms.
The financing supported over 7,000 enterprises across sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure and services, while contributing to job creation and MSME growth.
Tinubu noted that BOI maintained strong asset quality and secured additional international funding to expand its lending capacity, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to industrialisation and enterprise development.
