19 Die, 49 Injured In Kaduna, Ogun Road Crashes

At least 19 travellers have died and 49 others sustained varying degrees of injuries in separate accidents in Kaduna and Ogun states.
The Kaduna State Sector Commander, Kabir Y. Nadabo, attributed the cause of the crash to overspeeding and overloading.

In Ogun, six persons died while nine others sustained injuries in separate road crashes between Friday and Saturday. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) spokesperson, Florence Okpe, stated that the accidents occurred due to obstruction and speed violation.

The FRSC has warned motorists to be cautious and avoid reckless driving, especially during the Easter celebrations. The corps has also deployed additional personnel to strategic locations to ensure safe travels.
