Police Warn Of Nationwide Cult Initiation Threat

The Rivers State Police Command has issued an alert regarding potential cult-related activities across Nigeria on July 7th.

SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the command’s spokesperson, revealed that a large number of Black Axe cultists are preparing to mark their Founder’s Day.

Intelligence reports suggest the group plans to initiate innocent victims and possibly clash with rival cults. The event, code-named “Aiye Day” or “7/7,” is expected to be observed nationwide, particularly in higher education institutions.

Police Commissioner Olatunji Disu has directed all units to conduct pre-emptive raids to prevent the planned event and arrest suspected cultists. The public is urged to remain vigilant, with parents advised to monitor their children’s activities closely.

Community leaders and religious figures are encouraged to report unusual gatherings and preach against secret cults.
