In a shocking turn of events, a 14-year-old housemaid, Joy Afekafe, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Dr. Mrs. Adefolalu Fumilayo, a lecturer at the Federal University of Technology Minna.
The young suspect confessed to the crime and will face further investigation and prosecution. Efforts are underway to apprehend other individuals involved in the incident.
According to a statement from the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, the incident occurred when friends and church members of Dr. Mrs. Funmilola Adefolalu visited her residence in the Gbaiko Area of Minna after being unable to contact her by phone.
