Chicago State University Releases Tinubu’s Academic Records

Chicago State University (CSU) has complied with the order of the District Court of Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, by releasing the academic records of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This move followed an order from a U.S. judge in response to an appeal filed by Atiku Abubakar, Tinubu’s main challenger in the 2023 general elections. Atiku had requested the release of Tinubu’s academic records to support his claim that Tinubu was not qualified to contest the presidential election.
CSU released documents showing Tinubu’s academic history, including his Bachelor of Science degree issued in 1979. The controversy over Tinubu’s credentials has been a subject of debate in the Nigerian political landscape.
