A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the temporary forfeiture of $378,000 and a Mercedes-Benz GLS 600 Maybach to the Federal Government.
Justice Emeka Nwite granted the order following a motion by ICPC counsel Osuobeni Akponimisingha, linking the assets to alleged unlawful activities involving Paul Chukwuma, CEO of Fides Et Ratio Academy Limited.
ICPC alleged that TETFund paid the academy over ₦3.8 billion for unexecuted ICT services. Investigations revealed the funds were partly used to purchase the luxury vehicle.
The court directed the ICPC to publicize the forfeiture and adjourned the case to February 20 for compliance.
