Students of a federal university Minna, took to the streets on Tuesday to protest rising insecurity on and around campus.
The protesters, who blocked the Minna–Bida Road for several hours, demanded better security measures following recent attacks on students and staff.

The protest caused gridlock, and students only reopened the road after security operatives intervened.
