The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will hold from April 25 to May 5, 2025.
Registration begins on January 31, 2025, with a mock exam introduced for candidates under 16.
JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede emphasized that candidates must be at least 16 by September 30, 2025, to qualify for admission.
The exam fees range from ₦7,200 to ₦8,200, depending on whether candidates opt for the mock test. Oloyede also disclosed that underage candidates who excel in the mock exam may be considered for admission if they meet other requirements.
The initiative aims to provide younger students with early exposure to the examination process.
