SSANU Vows to Continue Strike Until Full Salaries Are Paid

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has vowed to keep its strike ongoing until all members receive full salary payments.

The union claims that salary delays have left members financially strained, affecting university operations across Nigeria. SSANU’s leadership accuses the Federal Government of neglecting its responsibilities and warns that any delays in salary disbursement will only prolong the strike.
The prolonged disruption has already affected students, with many calling for an urgent resolution. Education stakeholders have urged both parties to seek an amicable settlement, warning of the negative impact on Nigeria’s educational system if the strike persists.
