The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has announced plans to construct modern hostels on 36 campuses nationwide to address accommodation challenges faced by students.
Executive Secretary, Arch. Sonny Echono, emphasized the need for improved living conditions, citing inadequate hostel facilities and security concerns.
Echono affirmed TETFund’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art accommodations to enhance students’ welfare and attract global talent.
Additionally, plans for ICT projects to provide free internet access were unveiled, to further enhancing learning environments.
The initiative received support from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), underscoring the importance of collaboration in advancing educational infrastructure.
