Niger Delta leader, Edwin Clark has called on the Inspector-General of Police to arrest Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, following Wike’s recent comments threatening political interference in Rivers State.
Clark condemned Wike’s statements as incitement and a threat to public peace, urging the police to take immediate action.
The elder statesman reminded the Inspector-General of the impartiality required in upholding the law, noting that Wike’s actions jeopardize national stability.
Clark warned that allowing Wike to operate with impunity could undermine public confidence in law enforcement and deepen political tensions in Rivers State.
