Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, labeled the report as “heinous disinformation” and urged the public to disregard it.
He emphasized the government’s commitment to ongoing reforms for economic rejuvenation and prosperity, despite attempts to destabilize the country.
Idris warned against the spread of fake news and affirmed the government’s resolve to uphold national security and democracy within legal bounds.
He urged discernment and cautioned against amplifying unfounded reports planted on compromised news platforms.
