FGN Power Company, in collaboration with Siemens Energy, has deployed Mobile Substations to key sites across Nigeria to enhance electricity supply.
The company received 10 Power Transformers and 10 Mobile Substations from Siemens Energy, which will increase capacity by over 1300MW.
The Minister of Power emphasized the significance of Mobile Substations in providing power solutions, particularly in major load centers and during emergencies.
The rollout of these substations marks a crucial milestone in the Presidential Power Initiative’s efforts to transform Nigeria’s power sector and improve reliability, accessibility, and affordability of electricity nationwide.
