
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has dismissed 43 personnel over offences ranging from desertion to patrol misconduct and scandalous behaviour.
According to the Corps, 31 officers were sacked for desertion, five for scandalous conduct and seven for patrol-related infractions.
FRSC spokesperson, Olusegun Ogungbemide, said the action underscored the agency’s commitment to discipline and institutional integrity.
Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed described the dismissals as a reaffirmation of zero tolerance for ethical violations.
The Corps assured Nigerians that it would intensify internal monitoring and supervisory mechanisms to sustain professionalism and public trust.
