The Gombe State Government has approved the sum of N260 million for the relocation of the Tudun Hatsi Market, a major grains market in the state.
The approval includes N60 million set aside for compensation to traders and property owners affected by the move.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who gave the approval, said the relocation is part of efforts to improve urban planning and enhance safety in the area.
