Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has issued a seven-day ultimatum to traditional rulers in Kwande Local Government Area to produce the armed gang responsible for the attack on members of the Cow Dealers Cooperative Society in Katsina-Ala, where two lives were lost and 11 others are missing.
The attack occurred when traders were transporting goods to the Eastern part of the country.
Governor Alia condemned the incident and called on traditional rulers to identify and produce the criminals within seven days. He also pledged to compensate the affected traders.
