Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has commended the people of Southern Kaduna (Zone 3) for maintaining peace, which he says is crucial for unhindered development.
Speaking at the 2nd Southern Kaduna Festival in Kafanchan, Governor Sani reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance based on equity, fairness, and justice.
He emphasized the importance of cultural heritage as a foundation for progress and outlined several development projects undertaken by his administration in the past 18 months.
These include the rehabilitation of long-neglected Kafanchan township roads (with a reviewed contract sum of N9.3 billion), the construction of key roads connecting various local government areas (reaching 70% completion), and the reconstruction of the Pambeguwa to Kauru Road.
The government is also working towards converting Sir Patrick Yakowa General Hospital into a Federal Medical Center and upgrading primary healthcare centers across the zone.
