Gunmen have kidnapped two Chinese nationals, Wenguang and Ding, near Kemta in Onigbedu, Ewekoro Local Government Area, Ogun State.
The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the incident, stating that the victims’ company has received ransom demands from the abductors.
Ogun State Police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, reported that efforts to secure the victims’ release involve local vigilantes, military personnel, and other security groups.
Despite extensive searches in the Kémta Village forest, the victims remain missing. The police are working diligently to negotiate with the kidnappers and ensure the safe return of the abducted nationals.
