Hajj 2024: Third Flight from Kebbi Arrives in Madinah

The third flight from Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi, arrived in Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Saturday morning.

The flight carried 430 intending pilgrims from Gwandu, Aliero, Bunza, and Kalgo local government areas of Kebbi, alongside Kebbi government officials.

The plane left at about 4 p.m. Nigerian time and arrived in Medina at 12:30 a.m. Saudi Arabian time. On arrival, necessary arrangements had been made to receive the intending pilgrims in Madina and take them to their respective hotels.

According to Malam Hussaini Abubakar-Giro, a board member of the Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board, buses are already parked waiting for the pilgrims. Each bus will carry 45 pilgrims and take them to their hotels.

The pilgrims were grouped into 45 right from Nigeria, using their passports, which makes the work very easy for them.

This is a new innovation that they have never seen before, and they appreciate the Chairman, Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, for this arrangement.
