Federal Government Allocates N25 Billion to Bolster Healthcare Services Nationwide

In a bid to enhance healthcare delivery across the nation, the Federal Government has authorized the allocation of N25 billion to the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) and the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ali Pate, affirmed the government’s commitment to revolutionizing the healthcare system, aiming to achieve Universal Healthcare Coverage (UHC) for all Nigerians.

This funding, according to the Minister, facilitated through a Sector Wide Approach (SWAp) and the Health Sector Renewal Investment Programme (NHSRIP), signifies a crucial step towards reinforcing primary healthcare services and improving healthcare accessibility and quality nationwide.
