Investigations revealed that the fake products were openly displayed. NAFDAC urges caution among distributors, retailers, and consumers, emphasizing the careful examination of product authenticity.
The agency directs zonal directors and state coordinators to conduct surveillance and remove the counterfeit milk powder. Individuals with such products are advised to submit them to the nearest NAFDAC office.
Any adverse reactions should be reported to healthcare professionals, and suspicions of counterfeit products can be reported to NAFDAC via phone, email, or their website.
