Kaduna State has warned its political appointees against making irresponsible social media posts that could harm the government’s reputation. The directive was part of a communiqué issued after a two-day workshop on effective governance.
Signed by senior government officials, the communiqué emphasized professionalism, discipline, and loyalty among public servants. “Social media comments by appointees must align with government policies to prevent public outcry,” it stated.
The workshop also highlighted the need for improved communication skills among government house staff, positioning them as ambassadors of the administration.
Participants praised Governor Uba Sani’s inclusive leadership and commitment to public service excellence.
