Citing security concerns, the Kano State Police Commissioner, CP Usaini Gumel, has banned the traditional Sallah Durbar festivities for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

In a statement, the police urged residents to perform their Eid prayers at designated locations and assured that extensive security measures are in place.
