Kano Police Warn Against Protests Ahead of Supreme Court Judgment

The Kano State Police Command has issued a warning against any form of unrest ahead of the Supreme Court judgment and the festive period.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, urged organizers of protests and others to desist from actions capable of disrupting the peace in the state.
The police commissioner emphasized that anyone attempting to foment trouble would face the full wrath of the law.
The police have implemented strategies to ensure the security of lives and properties during the Supreme Court verdict and have engaged with religious leaders to discourage youths from being used for disruptive activities by politicians.
