Bello Bodejo, a leader of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore group, has been arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja for allegedly establishing an unlawful ethnic militia group, Kungiya Zaman Lafiya.
Bodejo pleaded not guilty to the charges filed by the Attorney General of the Federation, which accused him of violating the Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Act, 2022.
The court ordered his remand in the custody of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) pending the commencement of trial.
Justice Inyang Ekwo directed the prosecution to provide necessary medical attention to the defendant and urged compliance with due legal processes.
