New Minister Aims to Lift 133 Million Nigerians out of Poverty

Dr. Betta Edu, the newly appointed Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, has vowed to lead the federal government’s efforts to lift 133 million Nigerians out of poverty.
Edu outlined her commitment to transparency and accountability during her tenure, emphasizing the importance of achieving this goal through various interventions and initiatives.
She acknowledged the challenging task ahead and highlighted the need for determination and strong political support, including from President Bola Tinubu and the entire cabinet.
