The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has warned that it will take action regarding the political crisis in Rivers State, citing concerns that the conflict is impacting workers’ welfare in the state.
The NLC criticized the crisis, calling it a distraction that hinders the state governor from providing good governance.
The State Chairman of NLC, Comrade Alex Agwanwo, emphasized the negative impact on workers and the delay in implementing the N35,000 wage award.
The NLC urged all involved parties to seek peace, emphasizing that the ongoing crisis is affecting the state’s overall governance and the welfare of workers.
