The Nigeria Police Force has rejected the list of 10,000 constables recruited in the 2022/23 exercise, citing irregularities and corruption.
Police spokesperson ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that unqualified candidates were included in the list. The police have called for a review of the process to ensure transparency and recruit competent individuals.
The Police Service Commission (PSC) staff union, however, defended the exercise, aligning with the results from the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) tests.
The dispute underscores the need for integrity in recruitment processes.
