An Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has called on President Bola Tinubu to act urgently to ease the economic hardship facing Nigerians.
The former lawmaker expressed concern over rising fuel prices, electricity tariffs, and the general cost of living, which have made life increasingly difficult for citizens.
While acknowledging Tinubu’s efforts to address the situation, the APC chieftain emphasized the need for faster implementation of relief measures.
He also criticized the delay in suspending customs duties on essential food items like rice and wheat, urging the president to remove bureaucratic hurdles slowing progress.
The chieftain stressed that quick action is necessary to restore public confidence and reduce the mounting anger and frustration among Nigerians.
