Ali Bukar Dalori has officially taken over as Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the resignation of Abdullahi Ganduje.
Addressing the party’s National Working Committee on Monday, Dalori pledged loyalty to President Bola Tinubu and promised to lead with transparency and unity.
He described his appointment as a call to consolidate, not divide the party, especially as preparations begin for the 2027 elections.
Dalori praised Ganduje’s leadership since August 2023 and wished him well amid reports of health concerns.
He stressed the need to strengthen internal party structures, reconnect with grassroots members, and align fully with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which targets national security, economic revival, and unity.
“This is not a personal victory but a moment for shared responsibility,” he said, pledging to restore faith in the party’s mission.
Dalori vowed that APC would remain a reliable political vehicle for national transformation and development.
