Ganduje Defies Suspension, Boasts of Being in Charge as APC Chairman

Senator Abdullahi Ganduje, former Kano State governor and APC national chairman, has declared he remains in charge despite his purported suspension by ward executives.

A Federal High Court in Kano reversed the suspension, restraining all parties from implementing decisions reached at the April 15 executive meeting.

Justice A. M Liman ordered the parties to maintain the status quo pending the hearing of Ganduje’s application for the enforcement of his fundamental rights.

The case is set for April 30. Ganduje attributed the plot to Governor Abba Yusuf of the NNPP, aiming to weaken APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

He assured President Tinubu that Kano APC is solid and battle-ready to secure high votes.
