The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has congratulated Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on his re-election victory at the weekend poll.
In a statement signed by its chairman, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the NGF commended the peaceful conduct of the election and lauded Soludo’s performance in office.
“The clear margin of victory underscores his popularity and the people’s confidence in his leadership,” the forum stated.
It added that Soludo’s win would allow him to consolidate on his development agenda across sectors.
The NGF also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for ensuring a credible and orderly process, describing the outcome as “proof of Nigeria’s democratic maturity.”
