The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has emphasized the importance of unity within the party to provide effective political leadership for the country.
He made this statement after six newly elected members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and a zonal organizing Secretary were sworn in. The inauguration took place after the approval of the nominations by the NWC.
The newly inaugurated members include the Deputy National Chairman (North), National Vice Chairman (North West), National Legal Adviser, National Welfare Secretary, National Women Leader, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, and Zonal Organizing Secretary (North Central).
The APC National Chairman challenged the new committee members to work towards grassroots reforms within the party and assured that the concerns of dissenting voices would be accommodated.
He emphasized the importance of dialogue and internal democracy within the party and announced plans to launch campaign councils for upcoming state elections.
