During a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders meeting in Sokoto, former governor Aminu Tambuwal criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its governance failures.
He stated, “We warned Nigerians in 2023 not to vote for the APC as they were unprepared to lead.”
Tambuwal emphasized that the APC’s focus was on seizing power rather than effective governance, resulting in increased hardship for Nigerians. He called on the opposition to unite to ensure the APC loses future elections.
PDP state chairman, Bello Goronyo, mentioned that several APC members, including commissioners, are showing interest in joining the PDP, expressing confidence in reclaiming the state in the next election.
