The Yoruba community in Kano State, represented by the Yoruba Northern Elders Forum, has cautioned President Bola Tinubu against interfering in the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Kano governorship election.
In a communique, the elders urged traditional leaders such as the Ooni of Ife, the Alaafin of Oyo, and the Oba of Lagos, along with former APC Chairman Chief Bisi Akande, to engage with President Tinubu.
They emphasized the importance of respecting the decisions of the courts for peaceful coexistence and cautioned against succumbing to sentiments that may compromise the will of the people in Kano State.
