Reps Adjourn Plenary to Mourn Sokoto Representative

The House of Representatives has adjourned its plenary session to the next day in honor of late Representative Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, who represented Isa-Sabon Birnin in Sokoto State. Danbuga passed away in Abuja following a brief illness.
The Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, read a letter announcing the lawmaker’s death, and a minute of silence was observed in his honor.
Kalu expressed sadness over the incident and reminded the lawmakers of the impermanence of life. He commiserated with the family and described the loss as a reminder of life’s transient nature.
