The House of Representatives’ Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has summoned 256 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) over alleged overspending of N284.3 billion in 2020.The committee directed the Accountant-General of the Federation to provide the list of the affected MDAs.
Chairman Bamidele Salam emphasized that such extra-budgetary spending without National Assembly approval is illegal and demanded explanations from the agencies involved.
