In a joint operation, the Federal Capital Territory Police anti-kidnapping squad, in collaboration with the Nigerian Army, have successfully rescued five out of the six Al-Kadriyar sisters abducted from the Bwari area of Abuja in early January.
The kidnapped victims were rescued from the Kajuru forest in Kaduna State. Unfortunately, one of the sisters and a member of another kidnapped family were killed by the abductors.
The police spokesperson commended the efforts of the security operatives and urged residents to use emergency lines to report suspicious activities promptly.
