Tinubu Embarks on Official Visit to Netherlands, Saudi Arabia

President Bola Tinubu will embark on an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and subsequently Saudi Arabia for the World Economic Forum (WEF) from April 23, 2024.

According to the statement from the Presidency, the official visit is at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte.

While in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will engage in high-level discussions with the Prime Minister and hold separate meetings with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima. He will also participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum to explore opportunities for collaboration and partnerships in agriculture and water management.

After his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will proceed to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on global collaboration, growth, and energy for development.

This visit is expected to strengthen Nigeria’s bilateral relations with both countries and attract foreign investment to the country, the statement added.
