Tinubu Reshuffles Cabinet, Sacks Six Ministers

In a sweeping cabinet shake-up, President Bola Tinubu has dismissed six ministers, aiming to boost government efficiency and streamline operations.
Those affected include Women Affairs Minister Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Tourism Minister Lola Ade-John, and Education Minister Prof. Tahir Mamman, among others.
Suspended Humanitarian Affairs Minister Dr. Betta Edu was also formally relieved of her duties. The reshuffle, announced by Presidential Spokesman Bayo Onanuga, also included the reassignment of 10 ministers and the nomination of seven new ones, awaiting Senate confirmation.
Tinubu emphasized the need for the new appointees to fully commit to advancing his administration’s vision for national growth, urging them to prioritize government objectives.
