President Bola Tinubu has suspended Mrs Halima Shehu, National Coordinator of NSIPA, and appointed Akindele Egbuwalo as the acting CEO and National Coordinator.
The suspension follows allegations of corruption and financial malfeasance during Shehu’s tenure.
Egbuwalo, the former National N-Power Program Manager, takes on the role as an interim measure pending the investigation’s
outcome.
The NSIPA is a crucial initiative focused on poverty alleviation and social inclusion in Nigeria.
