Tinubu to Attend G-20 Summit in India

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to attend the G-20 Leaders’ Summit in New Delhi, India, on the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Tinubu will participate in and deliver keynote addresses at the Nigeria-India Presidential Roundtable and the Nigeria-India Business Conference, both held on the sidelines of the Summit.
He aims to leverage this platform to attract global capital and promote increased foreign direct investments in Nigeria’s labor-intensive sectors for job creation and revenue expansion. Tinubu will also have bilateral meetings with various world leaders from G-20 and non-G-20 countries.
Nigeria’s participation in the G-20 is under consideration, with consultations ongoing to assess the benefits and risks. Tinubu will return to Nigeria after the Summit.
