During his four-nation African tour, United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Blinken arrived in Nigeria for a bilateral meeting, part of his broader effort to strengthen U.S. relations with democracies in the subregion amid global challenges.
He was received by top government officials, and after the bilateral, a joint press conference with Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs was scheduled.
Blinken is also set to meet with the business community in Lagos during his visit.
